Orders and Payments

How can I place an order?

You may place an order directly through our website by selecting your desired piece, size, and adding it to your cart. Once you’re ready, proceed to checkout where you’ll be guided through secure payment and shipping options.

How to place an order for tailored fits?

To order a tailored fit, simply select the request tailored fit option on the product page or get in touch with us via WhatsApp. Once your request is confirmed, we will guide you through a quick measurement process and share a secure payment link. Your order will then be custom-crafted to your measurements with the same care and attention as every Aarnelle piece.

Will the cost be same for tailored fits?

Tailored fits involve personalized measurement adjustments to ensure a more precise and refined silhouette. A small additional fee applies to accommodate this added craftsmanship. The design, fabric, and overall garment remain unchanged, only the fit is tailored to your proportions. You’ll be guided through the process once you choose the custom fit option.

Do I need an account to place an order?

Yes, as creating one allows you to keep your orders secure, track orders, view your history, and receive early access to new collections and invitations.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept major international and domestic credit and debit cards, bank transfers, and select wallets. For international clients, payments via PayPal and Razorpay are also supported.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. All payments are processed through encrypted, PCI-compliant gateways. We do not store your card details on our servers.

Why does the amount on my card statement slightly differ from website total?

This may be due to exchange rates or foreign transaction fees applied by your bank or card provider. These charges are determined by your financial institution and are not controlled by Aarnelle.

Are there any additional fees for international payments?

Aarnelle does not add any extra processing fees. However, your bank may apply conversion charges or international usage fees when payments are made in a different currency. We recommend checking with your card provider for details.

Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?

As each piece is crafted or prepared with care, we may not be able to modify or cancel an order once it has been confirmed given that our artisans haven’t started working on it. Please write to us within 24 hours of placing your order and we will do our best to assist. However, the tailored fits won’t be modified or cancelled after confirmation.

How will I know my order is confirmed?

Once your payment is successful, you will receive a confirmation email fromorders@aarnelle.comwith your order number and details. If you do not receive it within 30 minutes, please check your spam folder or contact us.

Do you provide GST invoices?

Yes, all domestic orders include a GST-compliant invoice. Please ensure your billing details are entered correctly at checkout.

Yes, we offer worldwide shipping from India. All international orders are shipped via trusted logistics partners.

What are your shipping rates?

We provide complimentary insured express delivery worldwide including duties and taxes, so your experience is seamless from our atelier to your door.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Each Aarnelle piece is crafted with care and intention. As our artisans take the time to create and finish the fabrics by hand, domestic orders typically take 10-15 days, whereas international orders take 15-21 days to reach you. We believe in slow, purposeful creation. Your garment is not mass-produced but made with the attention it deserves.

How can I track my order?

Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking link via email.

Will I be charged custom duties or VAT?

No, you won’t be charged any additional duties or VAT at the time of delivery.

Returns and Exchanges

Do you accept returns?

Yes, we accept returns on standard-size garments within 10 days of delivery, provided the item is unworn, unused, and returned in its original condition with all tags and packaging intact. However, tailored fits are not eligible for returns as they are made for you. Please note that return shipping is not covered, and we kindly ask that clients arrange and cover the return courier.

Do you accept exchanges?

Yes, we offer exchanges within 10 days of delivery, provided the item is unworn, unused, and in its original condition with all tags and packaging intact. Tailored or custom-fit pieces are made exclusively to your measurements and are therefore not eligible for exchange.

How do I initiate a return or exchange?

Please email us at support@aarnelle.com with your order number, reason for return/exchange, and any images if necessary. Our team will be happy to assist you.

Is return shipping covered?

Yes, for clients within India, we offer complimentary return shipping. Once your request is approved, our team will arrange a reverse pickup at your convenience. For international orders, we kindly ask that return shipping be arranged and covered by the client.

Is shipping covered for exchanges?

Yes, we offer complimentary shipping for exchanges within India. Once your exchange is approved, our team will arrange both the return pickup and the delivery of your replacement piece at no additional cost. For international clients, return shipping is to be arranged and covered by the client, while outbound shipping for the exchanged item remains complimentary

What items are non-refundable or non-exchangeable?

Custom orders and accessories are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. These pieces are made with personalized attention and artisanal care, often crafted exclusively for you.

How long does a refund take to process?

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, your refund will be initiated within 3–5 business days. Refunds are processed to the original method of payment, and processing times may vary slightly depending on your bank or payment provider. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been issued.

Garment Care

How should I care for my Aarnelle garment?

Each garment comes with a muslin bag and care instructions at the back side of tag. In general, we recommend dry cleaning for all of our creations. Avoid direct sunlight and moisture and store garments in breathable cotton bags.

Are your pieces dry-clean only?

Yes, all of our pieces should be professionally dry-cleaned due to the delicacy of our fabrics and finishes. Always refer to the care label.

We work with generation weavers, embroiderers, and dyeing families to preserve India’s rich textile legacy. Our garments are not mass-produced, they are born from craft and tradition.

What does it mean that a piece is handmade?

Handmade means elements in a garment either from weaving or embroidery to finishing is executed by hand. This ensures uniqueness, longevity, cultural preservation and our idea of "from loom, to you".
