Kani Shawls
Kani weaving is a centuries old craft dating back to the Mughal era. Using small wooden spools called 'Kanis,' artisans hand-weave intricate patterns into pashmina shawls. Each shawl reflects hours of craftsmanship that has been cherished by royalty for generations. Each piece is both a wearable art and timeless elegance.
Each shawl can take anywhere from 3 to 6 months to complete, reflecting unparalleled patience and skill.
At Aarnelle, each Pashmina and Kani shawl is made to order, ensuring exclusivity. Handwoven by skilled generation of artisans, Kani shawls can take up to six months to complete, making every piece a timeless work of art.
*Certificate of authentic (Geographical Indication tag) also provided with each piece.
