The Story
The Dyed Sky captures a moment between motion and stillness, when clouds drift, dissolve, and become light. Crafted in airy silk crepe de chine, it is hand-dyed using the crumple tie-dye technique, creating shifting hues that mirror the changing sky.Along its edges runs a hand block-painted border, where one parallel side remain straight and the other parallel set of sides curve softly, echoing the natural irregularity of clouds meeting horizon. Each scarf is finished by hand, a quiet testament to the maker’s touch. An artwork of air and movement, no two pieces ever the same, just as no sky repeats itself.
